Fay and Aaron, Williamson Memorial and Forrest Hills
When I first met up with Fay and Aaron for a coffee to discuss their wedding plans I knew their day would be extra special. There were so many thoughtful touches and lovely moments throughout their day, it was a real pleasure to photograph.
I always love being there for bridal prep in the morning and it was really lovely to spend a quiet hour with Fay and her family before all the excitement began.
The ceremony was at Williamson Park which is such a great Lancaster wedding venue. In typical Lancashire style the heavens opened for Fay's arrival but the skies started to brighten and we could get out onto the steps afterwards for some group photographs and confetti.
The reception was held at Forrest Hills, my first time photographing a wedding reception there and I loved it. Check out those gardens!
After dinner and speeches the weather took a turn for the better, so, after a little portrait shoot on the balcony, we ventured outside into the gardens.
Smoke bombs are always so much fun to photograph, especially when combined with an excellent groom lift!
Thank you so much Fay and Aaron for having me, there were so many lovely moments to capture, a day to remember for a very long time!
Special thanks to Elizabeth Naomi too for your help second shooting x
